Yes, RENT HOUSE offers a free plan that allows you to browse properties and view basic details. For advanced features like unlimited phone unlocks, featured listings, and priority support, we offer affordable premium plans starting at just ₹499/month.
Creating an account is simple and passwordless. Just provide your name, email, and phone number. We will send an OTP to your email for verification. Once verified, your account is ready to use. You can also sign in using Google.
We currently operate in major Indian cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Noida, Kolkata, Pune, Chennai, Gurgaon, and many more. We are continuously expanding to new cities.
For Tenants
You can search for properties using our search bar on the home page or the properties page. Search by city, locality, property name, or even Property ID (e.g., RH00000001). Use advanced filters to narrow down by budget, property type, furnishing, bedrooms, and more.
You can send an inquiry directly from the property details page using the inquiry form. The inquiry will be sent to the landlord via email and SMS. You can also unlock the landlord's phone number (based on your membership plan) to contact them directly.
Our Rent Agreement service creates a legally valid rental agreement for ₹1,000. You fill in the details (landlord info, tenant info, property details, terms), make the payment, and we generate a professional agreement. It can be delivered via Speed Post or downloaded as PDF.
Yes, you can save any property by clicking the bookmark icon on the property card or detail page. All saved properties are accessible from your dashboard for easy reference.
For Landlords
Click on "Add Property" in the navigation bar. Fill in the property details including photos, location, rent, and amenities. Your listing will be reviewed and approved by our team, usually within 24 hours. A unique Property ID will be automatically assigned.
When a tenant sends an inquiry on your property, you will receive a notification via email and SMS with the tenant's contact details and message. All inquiries are also visible in your landlord dashboard for easy tracking and follow-up.
Featured properties get a special "Featured" badge and are shown prominently on the home page and at the top of search results. This significantly increases visibility and tenant inquiries. Featured listing is available with Premium and Elite plans.
Payments & Membership
We accept all major payment methods through Razorpay including credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and popular wallets like Paytm, PhonePe, and Google Pay. All transactions are secured with industry-standard encryption.
Yes, you can upgrade your plan at any time from the Pricing page. When upgrading, you will only be charged the difference for the remaining period. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all membership plans. If you are not satisfied with our service, you can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Rent agreement fees are non-refundable once the agreement has been generated.
For security, we limit OTP requests to 3 per day per email or phone number. The resend button appears after a 30-second cooldown. If you exceed the daily limit, you can still login using Google authentication.
